Rick Graff, now retired, worked as a Mental Health Counselor in Spokane for 25 years.
His clients ranged from participants in the Spokane methadone clinic (treatment for heroin addicts) to private practice, mainly dealing with teenagers, young adults and couples. His specialty for several notable years was in eating disorders in a program based at Deaconess Hospital.
He has a Black Belt in Aikido, rides a bike in all seasons, has a background that includes a great deal of experience being coached (top track team Spokane in the late sixties) in both high school and college where he played football.
He is experienced in Sports Psychology, fitness issues, and mental training, and brings a unique outside influence to our thoughts on riding and training the horse.
