Melynnda Thiessen is an extremely promising young professional with an excellent eye, fine communication skills, and a work ethic bar none. She achieved Bronze medal in one season, riding her Mustang, Mariah, whom she has now trained to the FEI levels, and is working on her Silver medal.
Melynnda rides a number of types of horses very successfully. She has great feel, tact, and empathy for both the horse and rider. She is familiar with all the movements of the Grand Prix–and down the levels. She has experience handling young horses and horses with rehabilitation issues. She also has a solid background in Pilates, endurance riding, natural horsemanship, equine nutrition, and parisitology.
Melynnda and her husband Nate operate a successful training facility and breeding/sales program about five minutes from downtown Spokane. She is a popular instructor and teaches successfully at numerous local barns. She is also available for clinics and teaches several out-of-state groups.
